Combined Support for Cisco UCS and EMC takes Hardware Sentry KM to the Cloud Computing Age!
The latest version of Hardware Sentry KM for PATROL brings several new features to help administrators in their day-to-day monitoring management:
- full compatibility with BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management - BPPM 8.5,
- native support of IPMI,
- possibility to deactivate device classes, etc.
This version adds full support for:
- Cisco UCS,
- Hitachi BladeSymphony,
- IBM VIO servers,
- HP SuperDome,
- HBAs and LUNs on Windows and Linux systems, etc.
Additionally, performance has been greatly optimized making the KM much more responsive and able to handle the monitoring of very large SAN environment with thousands of elements. The KM has been made much more reliable, stable and robust and thus dramatically reduces the number of unnecessary alerts.
