Java Settings

The Java Settings wizard enables you to define which Java instance is to be used by Hardware Sentry. You can either use the automatic detection, select a pre-detected java path or enter manually the path leading to the Java executable directory to be used.

notePerforming Telnet, SSH or WBEM-based collection (i.e. for most remote Linux and UNIX systems, and most storage systems) require Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.5 or higher.

To access the Java Settings wizard, right-click the main Hardware icon > KM commands > KM Settings > Java Settings.
